Care Tales turns what a clinician explains into a short interactive module a patient can open on their phone, in their own language, at a reading level that suits them.
Mission and values
Care Tales exists to make healthcare easier to navigate. Most of what a clinician says is forgotten before the patient gets home. We turn it into something they can go back to.
Our mission
To turn complex medical information into clear, personalized education that patients finish and remember, so they move through care with more confidence.
How we work
Clinical accuracy first. Every module is built from sources the care team approves and reviewed by a clinician before a patient sees it, and the in-module assistant answers only from that approved content.
Who builds it
Healthcare professionals, educators and technologists working on one problem: health education that reaches the people usually left out of it.
What we build
One module, made to fit the person reading it
Six languages
English, Spanish, French, Russian, Portuguese and Haitian Creole, each with its own recorded narration.
Three reading levels
Easy, intermediate and advanced are separate rewrites, down to the quiz questions, not the same text resized.
Reviewed by a clinician
Nothing reaches a patient until a clinician has checked it against the sources the care team approved.
Opens from a QR code
A code on a handout or an exam room wall. No account, no download, and nothing to reprint when the guidance changes.
A portal for care teams
Clinics assign modules, brand the in-module assistant and keep their own content to themselves.
Engagement you can see
Sessions, completions, reading levels chosen and ratings, module by module. Patients need no account to open a module.
